Why Rogers

A young suburb that doubled in size

Rogers sits in the northwest corner of Hennepin County, where I-94 meets Highway 101, with the Crow River along its edge and Three Rivers’ Crow-Hassan Park Reserve on its western side. On January 1, 2012, the city took in the rest of Hassan Township, growing from about nine square miles to more than 26.

Census counts show how fast Rogers has grown: 698 residents in 1990, 3,588 in 2000 and 13,295 in 2020. The city’s own comprehensive plan counts nearly half of its single-family homes as built since 2000. From our base in Delano, it’s about a 40-minute drive.

Newer homes, bigger windows

With so many Rogers houses built in the last couple of decades, a lot of them carry plenty of glass: tall great-room windows, transoms over the entry and upper panes a story or two off the ground. We reach most of it from the grass with water-fed poles, which use purified water, so the glass dries without spots, and anything tucked under a roofline gets a ladder.

Prairie, woods and wetlands next door

Crow-Hassan Park Reserve has roughly 600 acres of restored prairie, and the city’s plan counts a dozen lakes and 15 wetlands in or around Rogers. All that open country is lovely to live near, but wind carries dust and pollen onto the glass. A cleaning in late spring, once pollen season winds down, clears it off.

Tracks and screens that need a reset

Whether your windows are original to a 1990s house or a few years old, grit packs into the tracks and screens turn gray with dust. Our track detailing cleans out the channels, and if you add screen cleaning, we remove each screen, wash both sides and the frame by hand, and return it to its own window.

Questions

Rogers window cleaning FAQs

How often do you recommend cleaning windows in Rogers?
Our recommendation is a quarterly schedule, so dust and pollen from the fields and wetlands never get a chance to build up. If you’d rather keep it simple, a late-spring and an early-fall cleaning cover the basics.
Do you cover the old Hassan Township side of Rogers too?
Yes. Hassan Township is part of Rogers now, and homes out there are in our service area just like the neighborhoods near I-94. Inside or out, one story or three, we’ll quote whatever glass you’d like cleaned.
White spots keep showing up where my sprinklers hit the windows. What can you do?
That white haze is mineral left behind when sprinkler water dries on the glass. Once it builds up, it takes our hard-water stain removal, which we price separately after seeing the windows. Our regular cleanings won’t make it worse, because our poles rinse with purified water, and aiming sprinklers away from the glass keeps new spots from forming.
How is a Rogers quote priced?
There’s no charge for a quote and no pressure to book. Call (763) 314-3400 or send a request through the quote form. We look at the home’s size, how many windows it has and how hard they are to get to, then give you one all-in price before any work starts.
